About Maggies Dreamcatcher Dharamsala Hospital Project.

Maggie's Dreamcatcher was formed in 2006 when Michael and Cheryl's young daughter of five asked "why they could not help more than one" when offered a sponsorship of a child overseas.  It was this question that lead them down the path of creating a charity to support a much needed health facility in Dharamsala in Northern India.

Our charity is established around 7 committee members that have long supported our cause in fund raising activities.  The committee and the charity are only small but every dollar is given directly and everyone involved is a volunteer.  There are no paid staff.

Michael, Cheryl and Maggie travelled toIndia to the site in 2008 and will be back there again in 2011.  They have been fortunate enough to have had a private audience with His Holiness the Dalai Lama who has given his support for the project.

Their next journey to India will see Cheryl take a fully escorted tour for 10 days taking in Dharamsala, Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. The journey will also see Cheryl and her family hand over some much needed funds to assist with purchasing some much needed equipment.
